Insurance Producer (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZFebruary 13, 2018
This job offered excellent opportunities to advance in the company. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to be a self starter and being a part of a motivated sales team.

an excellent opportunity for an ambitious agent
Insurance Agent (Current Employee) –  Columbia, MDNovember 28, 2017
The work culture is extremely friendly. An ambitious person can become a millionaire over time given the pay structure. The company appreciates your contribution and that's reflected in their
policies. They have a very generous pay through policy that appears to be unique in the industry. Bonus trips for high performing agents are extraordinary. The basic concept of the company is based on integrity, honesty and concern for the clients.
Pros
monthly pay through, distribution of chargebacks
Cons
inconsistency of income can be stressful, but that's basically up to the agent

it is what you make it.
Field Sales Agent (Current Employee) –  Pittsburgh, PAOctober 10, 2017
This can be a terrific career or a horrible wrong turn. You have to spend money to make money, especially in the beginning but the opportunity is there for those who can sell and work hard.
I would suggest that if you don't want to be a manager and think you can just write policies to make a lot of money, choose a different path. You can write your way into some money but the wealth is in management. If you don't see yourself living for Lincoln heritage, go another route but if you do want your own group, they'll help you achieve it.
Pros
lots of flexability, work when you want to
Cons
to make money you have to constantly be working. Very hard if you have a family. Expensive leads.

Great product; lead system has much to be desired.
Final Expense Sales Professional (Current Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLSeptember 25, 2017
Great product. The lead system however, is much to be desired. I will leave it at that. The training is mediocre; it's too narrowly focused on just the company internally and on final expense.... not enough on the larger marketplace.

Insurance Agent (Current Employee) –  Oklahoma City, OKSeptember 16, 2017
You can make money at your own pace while helping individuals at the same time. It takes a lot of work and drive to move up the ladder, but your are responsible for your own success. You get out of it all of what you put in....

Terrible company
agent (Former Employee) –  work from homeSeptember 11, 2017
Higher commissions almost everywhere in the FE business. Better leads at better prices almost with every FE IMO.

Far easier underwriting at other companies with better rates.

No one else cuts agent commissions and advances on direct monthly bill or savings accounts payers. That's unique to LH.

Every other FE company is vesting from day 1, not 2 years.

The managers are making money. Some big money. The producer out in the field is not making money save for a unicorn or two somewhere.

Even those are building a team.
Pros
Can't think of one.
Cons
Poor commissions, tough underwriting, managers that can't sell.

Great company and product, execellent training and managers,no benefis
Agent/ Producer (Former Employee) –  Huntsville, ALSeptember 4, 2017
Great company and product, excellent training and managers, no benefits. Allows you to be your own boss and work your on schedule. Job success is based on running 25 leads a week which you purchase from them. Unfortunately, the leads come in a feast or famine manner. You may receive an adequate number of leads, or go two months without enough to work a week. If they could and would supply you with the leads that fits their work plan as pitched, a decent sales person would make great money.
Pros
Great company and products, awesome manager and training.
Cons
No benefits, could not come through on leads promised.

Good Company
Life Insurance Agent (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZ 85018August 29, 2017
The company provides a great service for its clients. Home office really tries to support agents in the field. Managers are over-extended and cannot support their agents as much as needed, but most agents figure it out over time. There is a high turnover in the insurance field.
Pros
Your time, your effort, your paycheck
Cons
Agents pay for leads, good leads and bad leads

they promise residual income after 2 years hard work. They take 35% of what you earn with terrible leads, and after working hard for 1.8 years they will fire you and take your residual.

You have to be able to sell. The leads are minimal. If you can have a contract higher than 110% then go for it. Build your team and dominate the rest.

Solid Company
Field Unverwriter (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJuly 29, 2017
Lincoln Heritage is a solid company to work for, and you can make money with the company. What I recommend, for new people coming aboard, is to research the person who is hiring you. A manager, in any organization, can make you love or hate your position. Get with a manager who understands how to build up people and who is interested in investing in your growth. Also, realize this is not a get rich quick scheme.
Pros
Daily Commissions
Cons
Travel

Good company, nice people, training is also good.
Leads are expensive and somewhat old. You have to drive all over the place to see customers.
Easy application to fill and the presentation is pretty to pitch.
Pros
Work Independently with great office support.
Cons
Knocking doors on a daily basis.
