A learning experience
Educator (Former Employee), Lincoln, Rhode Island – April 24, 2013
This was an opportunity to work at a school that offered Pivot Point technique. A typical day was instructing students in the cosmetology field.

The management was fine. My co-workers were wonderful, we had a wonderful repore with each other and to date we stay in touch.

The most difficult part of this job was continuity and communication.

The most – more... enjoyable part of this job was teaching and watching the students understand and perform positively. – less

Extremely competitive
Admissions Representative (Former Employee), Philadelphia, PA – March 5, 2013
My day started at 8:00 AM and I left the office at 7:30/8:00 PM each day. We were required to make at least 75 outbound calls a day while answering our inbound calls and interviewing the students we had set appointments. I learned quite a bit about the difficulties students dealt with living in the inner city of Philadelphia and it was very humbling. – more... There was not much time to interact with my fellow co-workers since there wasn't really any time. However, if a fellow co-worker was really in the weeds, I had no problem lending them a hand. The hardest part of the job was the rude behavior by the people on the outside calls, but that just made me feel I was one step closer to a receptive call. The most enjoyable part of the job was when a student would graduate, who I had recruited, and the look of pride on there face. There were many challenges to face ( financial aid, parents, friends, attendance) but it was well worth it when you had the opportunity to change someone's life. – less

Financial Aid Advisor/Veteran's Representative (Former Employee), Fern Park, FL – December 4, 2012
Pros: hours, potential career advancement.
Cons: constant distrust between departments, no support from leadership.
This company can be an excellent place to work. Under constant micromanagement and limited freedom and flexibility. Constant changing of policies with no informing departments. Constant bickering amongst departments. With the correct leadership, I could have seen myself retiring from here

The staff and students are wonderful. But the they dont pay enough
Assistant System Administrator/Pc Support (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PA – July 11, 2012
Pros: the staff, co-workers always make you feel welcome
Cons: alot of changes in department
I love the staff and students, but in some parts of management need to be better. I don't mind being over worked but after 2-4 years of hard work you expect more than a five cent raise. I've gained a lot of customer service skills, the most enjoyable part of the job is staff.
