Little Angels Daycare is a great place to work at. The kids were all wonderful, and the management there was very good.
Caretaker (Former Employee), Portland, MISeptember 29, 2014
A typical day at work would be taking care of the children, from changing diapers to making them lunch, to putting them down for naptime, and taking them outside for playtime, or if the weather is bad the playtime would be inside. I learned that taking care of so many children at once can be very difficult but also very rewarding. It had great management – more... a this daycare that I worked with. My boss was amazing. I really enjoyed all of my co workers. Most of my co workers were my age, so it was so much easier working with teenagers my age. The hardest part of my job, like I said before would be dealing with so many children at once. I believe there was 14 children there at once. The most enjoyable part of my job would be handling all the children. I absolutely love children. I love how they have a totally different mindset then us. They make everything fun and exciting. Babysitting children almost makes me feel like a kid again sometimes. It's always nice to live back on your old memories and babysitting so many children definitely helps that. – less

It worked well with my schedule, and it was a great place.
TEACHER AID (Former Employee), Russell, KYSeptember 28, 2014
My typical day at work would involve aiding the teachers, helping the kids, and playing games with the kids. I learned its not always going to be the little things that stick out too you. The management was very iffy at first but with the change of directors its back on track. The co-workers were great, all of them were working well together and close. – more... The hardest part would have to be working with the one year olds, they always were a challenge most enjoyable part was being a role model and making a difference. – less

Child Care Assistant (Former Employee), Dundas, MNJune 30, 2014
Pros: free lunches, learning opportunities, long breaks, awesome co-workers and clients
Cons: low pay, long hours
This was my absolute favorite place to work!! The management is caring and organized, as well as flexible with its employees.
Long hours are pretty consistent, but the breaks from an hour to two hours, depending on the length of naptime that day.

Owner/Operator (Former Employee), Boston, MAFebruary 9, 2014
Pros: seeing the kids smile and the parents' trust was great.
Cons: it was hard and tiring!!!!
This was a fun job but could be hectic! It was well run and organized but when dealing with people's children, things could get hairy... We worked hard to make sure the kids were having fun while learning in a clean environment and getting fed healthy foods!

Typical day at Little Angels Daycare
ASSISTANT TEACHER (Former Employee), Johnston, RIJanuary 18, 2014
Pros: great management, awesome staff, wonderful learning experiences
Cons: short lunch breaks, small room setting, toddlers and infants at one point shared the same end of the building
The staff are very well trained, educated, organized, and enthusiastic about their jobs. Not only am i a parent whose children went to this center, but i worked behind the scenes there as well. Not only do i feel like my children are safe with their online monitor systems, but with the centers manditory fiingerprinting and BCI approval, i know that – more... the kids there are well taken care of. the management style is very compromising. the owner is very knowledgable and and offers course to keep the employers up to date on basic teaching skills, cpr/first aid, and other learning workshops. the hardest part of the job was having to handle a group of 10 children or more, who were all sleepy right before nap time. once they were donw for their naps i regain my composure and i realized that i loved my job! working with the other women there was a great learning experience. some of them were in the process of gaining their certifications through college, others had already completed many years in elementary school teaching, as well as a couple younger ladies who where new to the daycare center experiences. working with children was a dream of my mine, and all though at times it was extremely challenging, i enojoyed every minute i was employed there! – less

Owner/President (Former Employee), Joliet, ILNovember 1, 2012
I took care of 8 children in my home. I was very rewarding in the sense of watching them grow. Not only physically, but also educationally and emotionally. The sad part of it was when they were od enough to start school andhad to leave my daycare.

Daycare Assistant (Former Employee), Kankakee, ILApril 11, 2012
A typical day was a meeting with the boss. To make sure that everything ran smoothly with both shifts. Then make up a lesson plans for the day. Start making breakfast and feed the children. start teaching the lesson plan for today. Activities with the children. I love my co-workers, and children. A long life experience. Everything was easy. I enjoy – more... the children. – less
