Pros: great management, awesome staff, wonderful learning experiences
Cons: short lunch breaks, small room setting, toddlers and infants at one point shared the same end of the building
The staff are very well trained, educated, organized, and enthusiastic about their jobs. Not only am i a parent whose children went to this center, but i worked behind the scenes there as well. Not only do i feel like my children are safe with their online monitor systems, but with the centers manditory fiingerprinting and BCI approval, i know that the kids there are well taken care of. the management style is very compromising. the owner is very knowledgable and and offers course to keep the employers up to date on basic teaching skills, cpr/first aid, and other learning workshops. the hardest part of the job was having to handle a group of 10 children or more, who were all sleepy right before nap time. once they were donw for their naps i regain my composure and i realized that i loved my job! working with the other women there was a great learning experience. some of them were in the process of gaining their certifications through college, others had already completed many years in elementary school teaching, as well as a couple younger ladies who where new to the daycare center experiences. working with children was a dream of my mine, and all though at times it was extremely challenging, i enojoyed every minute i was employed there!
