Receive faxes and calls from clients who need their freight moved in a timely manner. Management was poor and allowed the office to re-locate. Co-worker was amazing. The job was extremely enjoyable.

Livingston International is a by the book type of brokerage. Very professional and Compliance driven.
Service Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Cheektowaga, NYAugust 26, 2013
Working at Livingston was a great experience. It was a fast paced environment. I learned not only from the day to day experience, but from excellent leadership and training that was constantly available. Everyone worked together in specialized teams towards the same goals. They efficiently used the talents of each individual employee. It was an overall successful experience.
The most difficult part of this job was the lack of the "small company" relationship with the Clients. Developing a more personable working relationships which in turn develop long standing loyal relationships is key in keeping clients at one brokerage. With larger companies, you tend to lose that and as a result have a high turnover.
The most enjoyable part of the job is learning something new all the time. Livingston was dedicated to making sure everyone was well educated of the newest regulations, laws and procedures. Also, the wide range of businesses we dealt with provided a wealth of new knowledge. Learning about their products, how things are made and the wide range of diversity in the people you deal with was absolutely the best part of this job.
Pros
Bonuses, flexible schedules
Cons
The drive through rush hours traffic
