Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day SEO/SEM management of our online properties. This position is mainly responsible for utilizing web data and analytic metrics to create ongoing recommendations for improving online user experience, driving traffic, increasing sales conversion, and optimizing marketing campaigns. Candidates should have performance-based online marketing experience and a solid understanding of online marketing strategies and new changes in the SEO industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize existing online marketing initiatives such as SEO/SEM, affiliate marketing, email, and social media
  • Establish new online marketing efforts, on and off site, with a focus on customer acquisition, conversion and retention to drive significant growth and brand awareness
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of competitive industry trends and historic performance at both the individual product and customer segment level
  • Develop appropriate promotional and marketing strategies to drive the key metrics of the business which includes relevant traffic, conversion, sales and margin, P&L goals among other metrics
  • Create and manage the monthly budget to ensure all profit and expense goals are met or exceeded
  • Develop and execute the overall e-Commerce business strategy including achievement of sales, margin and P&L goals
  • Continuously make improvements via content creation & authoritative link building to improve organic search engine rankings of our online properties
  • Collaborate with different teams and drive all aspects of SEO
  • Utilize Google Analytics to identify visitor behavior and drive improvements based on findings
  • Build relationships with bloggers and industry publications to promote brand awareness
  • Use social media outlets to promote brands

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of directly related experience in SEO/SEM
  • Experience in online marketing channels such as paid search, search engine optimization, email marketing, social media and affiliate marketing is critical
  • Understanding of the search engine industry and SEO best practices
  • Demonstrated experience with analytical tools, particularly Google Analytics
  • Critical-thinking skills and the ability to identify interesting trends in the industry and make recommendations
  • Google Adwords / Analytics Certifications are a plus
  • Web Development experience is a plus
