Decent place to work
Custom Wiring Specialist (Former Employee), Moorestown, NJJune 16, 2014
Pros: good pay and decent benefits
Cons: some favoritism
Began at 6:30am, Learned proper methods for assembling and wiring components and systems. Management was good to you if you did your job. Co-workers for the most part were easy to get along with. Hardest parts for me were non-existent, I always enjoyed building thing and learning new challenges

Field Service Technician
Field Service Technician (Former Employee), Fort Worth, TXMarch 2, 2014
Pros: pay rate, work enviroment, great co-workers
Cons: always a risk of lay off
The work environment was excellent, the pay was great. Management activities by the upper management has contributed to layoffs and loss of production. Unfortunately I moved from having a job to 6 months later being layed-off. As I search online, this is not the first time that this has occurred, Former workers have moved from Marietta, Ga. to Texas – more... only to result in being laid off. – less

Air Traffic Control Specialist AFSS (Former Employee), Prescott Valley, AZSeptember 2, 2013
Pros: new consept computers
Cons: increased responsibility for new spedialists compensated by lower pay and benifits.
New enterprise for Lockheed-Margin. During this period Lockheed-Martin was developing a new enterprise, one in which they had no expertise. The development of new computers and proceeedures was a necessity. Adjustment during this period was required by both management and specialists. By 2008, internal facility training was in full swing and the necessity – more... of keep FAA veterans was no longer requirement. – less

You are either good or not.
Network Engineer (Former Employee), Sunnyvale, CANovember 1, 2012
Pros: gave me opportunities for advancement, to learn a lot and for education.
Cons: the commute.
Worked with a bunch of very smart, energetic people. I learned a lot of technical matter both in depth and in a broader spectrum. A place where you bring it all together. You can find yourself given a task with little or no guidance that you are expected to accomplish within a given time line. You just get the task done.

The hardest part of the job – more... was not the job. It was the commute.

Being a government contractor it is a very security aware place. Everything you do on a daily basis is security based. Everything you did had security and confidentiality ingrained into you daily work habits.

You learn to get along with a dynamic bunch of people. A lot of down to earth smart people who really know their stuff.

Problems of different difficulty and complexity that make you think out of the box and forced you to either learn and grow or sink.

A challenging place. A place where you grew. – less

More interaction needed with satetile locations of contracted positions.
Field Associate I (Former Employee), Fort Chaffee, ARMarch 17, 2012
Pros: pay & benefits package, help-desk, and clear expectations of/from you.
Cons: never "visited" at satetilte location.
The company itself is one of the best employee-friendly companies I had the privilege of working for. I recommend this company to any job seeker, they do have very stringent/high recruitment requirements. If you make the grade, you can believe in your career goals and paths will be what you make them.
