I have applied several times to positions at the Fort Worth location that fit my work skills almost word for word in the job description and have never received a phone call. These are not entry level positions it states that you need several years of experience in this field which I have and I know of others that also have the experience needed that have also applied and no phone call just a e-mail that comes every time stating they are considering other candidates. Thinking about this and reading other reviews I noticed people saying that they want a younger work force, that's all fine but there is something wrong when someone may have 25 years or more of experience and is a perfect fit for a job opening but never receives a phone or has never been considered for that job. Is it because in the resume it states 25 plus years of experience but they are looking for someone younger? Hopefully that's not the case but I know others are wondering why they are not getting a call but an e-mail saying "They are looking at other candidates"

Good Luck, even if you are well qualified for the job and keep applying when your field of expertise comes up you will get an e-mail saying "Thanks for applying but we are considering other candidates" you can have over 25 years in that field and meet every qualification in the job description. After a few days that e-mail will be sent "Thanks for applying but we are considering other candidates" The same job or another job opening will come up time after time looking for a person with certain qualifications, you would think if you had all the qualifications and even lived in the area there might be a phone call from Lockheed Martin showing interest but instead that same e-mail will come shortly after applying even if your fully qualified. They really need to look at their hiring system because Lockheed Martin is letting highly qualified people slip through the cracks by not contacting them.
