It was a decent place to work and gave me an opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people
Customer service (Former Employee), Paducah, Ky –
Pros: i got money daily, and had a set scedule.
Cons: poor benifits, no opurtunity for advancement.
The typical day was taking, delivering food, cashing out tables. I cant say i really learned much of any thing there. The management were wonderful most of the problems with the job was out of there control. My co-workers tended to be angry all the time and weren't very motivated. Getting kitchen errors fixed when we were short handed was by far the – more...  hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know regular guest. – less

Great food, company has a few bumps
server (Former Employee), Killeen, TX –
Pros: discount lunches, good food, light cleaning
Cons: weird managers, staff rude or said sexually inappropriate things
My store was several months in the red, but needed to be promoted more and give out more coupons. The management was day and night. One manager flexible, dependable, kind but other manager harsh, cruel, and over bearing. The store suffered for it. Favoritism cause some waitresses to miss a day of work and immediately be fired. Other waitresses and cook – more...  staff were allowed to talk to others rudely and harshly without any punishment. – less

Server (Current Employee), Indianapolis, IN –
Pros: half price food every shift you work
Cons: short breaks
Getting into with guest needs and making sure you make an impression on your guests so they will come back.
I've learned patience is a key thing to have while working in a guest first enviornment.
The management is very flexible and makes the work enivornment fun and upbeat.
The hardest part of the job is making sure you remember everything your guests – more...  need for a wonderful dining experience.
The most enjoyable part of this job is getting to know your guests. – less

Great place to work, have fun, socialize, and build skills
server (Former Employee), Johnson City, TN/ Bristol, VA –
Pros: half price meals, great insurance
Cons: long shifts on weekends
I worked for Loagn's Roadhouse on and off for 10 years. Its the longest employement I have had in my life, and something just 'worked' for me while being employed there. I left after I graduated college and I am thinking about going back and getting into management. Serving is what it is. yes I got paid $2.13/hr but once one can build up a clientle, – more...  then the tips get better.

The harest part of the job was when its busy like Mother's Day or Father's day, sometimes no breaks are given because of the high volume of guests.

I learned a lot about myself as a person and how to deal with solving guests problems. I was shy when I first started but by the end of my time there I could talk to anyone about anything.

I encourage anyone who wants to get into the restaurant and hospitality business to apply and work for Logans. – less

Every day was a new challenge.
Corporate Trainer (Former Employee), Grand Rapids, MI –
Pros: food discount
Cons: hours, pay/benefits
We had to be at the store 15mins before our shift started. I learned a lot about time management and to let the little stuff go. I worked with the management daily. My co-workers were great most of the time. The hardest part of the job was knowing at one point in the shift I would more than likely have more tickets than i could get out in a timely fashtion. – more...  The most enjoyable part of my job were the people I worked with. – less

Fun place to work
Hostess (Former Employee), Roanoke, VA –
Pros: fun working environment, listen to music all day
Cons: cleaning the peanut shells with a broom
I worked here shortly after graduating high school. Fun place to work, the customers are always nice and it was a nice working environment. Management never gave me any problems with anything. The worst part of the job was sweeping up the peanuts after closing time.

Bartender/Server (Former Employee), Lafayette, IN –
Pros: discounted lunches, fun employees
Cons: doubles, weekdays
Fast paced job with crazy hours. The people make the job what it is. You hourly wage is $2.13/hr so you rely on tips. The corporate culture of Logan's isn't bad, can be a very fun place to work but benefits of working here are the take home cash and schedule is very flexible.
