Rollouts have been short and many details omitted in training.
General Manager (Former Employee), Huntsville, Al.July 21, 2014
Pros: good compensation
Cons: poor quality of life outside work.
I learned all aspects of restaurant management and leadership from other General Managers. What was a fun upbeat environment has been reduced to high stress with certain unattainable goals.

Absolutely horrible
Server (Former Employee), Jacksonville, FLJuly 15, 2014
Pros: best friend and 50% off food on work days
Cons: everything else
Logan's Roadhouse was my first job serving, and in the beginning, everything seemed great. I was fooled though. The management staff is rude and doesn't treat their employees with respect, they think that they can talk to you any way they please. They are not understanding at all if you have a child and have to take days off for your kid. Insurance – more... plans are horrible, like to the point where you could almost not have any insurance at all and be better off. The employees are more focused on each other's drama and lives than working. The few actually really good kitchen staff that we had were overlooked because of the excess amount of bad kitchen staff. The only thing good that I can say about my time at Logan's Roadhouse was meeting one of my best friends and coming to work and seeing her. That's it though. – less

Not the best place if your trying to advance
Key Hourly Manager (Former Employee), Memphis, TNJuly 14, 2014
Pros: short commute to work
Cons: the good workers get work to death without compensation
Chaos at work almost daily. I learned that in a restaurant environment that only the strong survive. There was a very high turnover rate for management. The people that were qualified were looked over and moved around. There were very few co workers that actually did work that they were proud of. The hardest part of the job was the constant readjustment – more... of new management. The most enjoyable part of the job was that I trained myself in a variety of different stations at work. – less

Host (Former Employee), Macon, GAJuly 7, 2014
A typical day was usually very entertaining to say the least. I learned that in order to really communicate with others I must listen to them. Management was great at leading by example and would ask you to go out of your comfort zone to see you better yourself. The hardest part of the job was when we were shorthanded anytime during a rush. The most – more... enjoyable part of the job was the accomplishment that we felt as a team at the end of a busy night. – less

Great place to work with a lot of great people.
head hostess (Former Employee), Florence, ALJuly 1, 2014
Pros: co-workers, 50% off food
Cons: no breaks, long and late hours
A typical day at work was included keeping a tidy area along with greeting the guest with a happy attitude and answering phone with same attitude. I loved my co workers and managers. The hardest part of the job was being busy and keeping the guest and co workers happy. The most enjoyable part was at the end of the shift, I would stand back and admire – more... the job I had done along with the co workers. It was a job that made you feel proud of yourself. – less

Server (Former Employee), Fort Oglethorpe, GAJune 30, 2014
Very busy and somewhat stressful environment; high tensions, but fun. I learned how to do better mutli-tasking and how to "turn tables" faster than I had before. The hardest part was getting help from both the other employees and managers when you needed it most.

Server/Hostess (Former Employee), Birmingham, ALJune 27, 2014
Serving at Logans is easy. The menu is simple and the computers are easy to learn. The cons happen when managers are incompetent, or you have horribly tipping customers.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee), Jacksonville, NCJune 23, 2014
Pros: interacting with people
Cons: no benefits, no advancements
always something to do
Co-workers are nice
learned how to multi-task, and handle rude/impatient customers, prioritize by importance.
hardest part of the job is never knowing how much you will make by the end of the week. And the hourly pay is awful, for all the work servers do.
most enjoyable part: interacting with customers
