deal with court related issues
Magistrate Court Clerk (Current Employee) –  Logan, WVApril 9, 2015
A typical day at work is processing new cases, including civil, criminal, domestic violence, and traffic, as well as collect court costs and fines. I have learned how to deal with all different types of people as well as the flow of court cases from start to finish. I am the supervisor over Magistrate Court and am responsible for all cases filed as well as all financial responsibilities. The hardest part of my job is when all members of our staff do not work together and fail to do their part to make things run smoothly. The most enjoyable part of my job is when I have a customer that feels like he has been helped and is completely satisfied when he leaves my office.
Pros
flexible work environment, medical, dential, and eye insurance
Cons
at will employee, no room for advancement
