A typical day at work consists of driving for many miles and everyday can be a learning experience. Management at times can be challenging. My co-workers are great. The hardest part of the job is to avoid robberies. The most enjoyable part of the job is to make it home safely.

Loomis was a great place to work. Flexiblity with hours. Co-workers were helpful. Learned alot concerning Oracle and Microsoft Excel.

Every day is a different Challenger, many co-workers with a lot of experience to help you learn all you need to be safe and make the job done right.

A typical day is very busy. You really need to be very accurate as you are dealing with large amounts of cash. You have to be very trustful and careful always aware of the people around you. I learned how to replinish a ATM and remove deposits to be delivered to the various banks. Most of the coworkers were easy to work with. Hardest part of the job – more...  would be trying to work your route because sometimes you had to many stops that had to be done different banks had time windows when they wanted deposits picked up that made it very stressful trying to acomplish several stops that needed to be delivered at or close to the same time. ARMED GUARD TO PROTECT THE MESSENGER, ARMED DRIVER, ARMED MESSENGER, DELIVERING TO AND PICKING UP MONEY FROM BANKS, A.T.M’S, AND STORES, A.T.M TECHNICIAN, REPARING THE ATM'S AS NEEDED AND RELOADING IT WITH MONEY

Management was very unstable,this company was formerly Pendum,Inc and was recently bought by Loomis Fargo,work hours were horribly unstable,and when I wanted to go back to college to further my education,they would not show any flexibility with my work schedule.

really intresting job to have, It is very important to treat all employees equally, It is understood that time in service leading to senority is vital but not in every single situation. For example, someone can be with a company for 8 years but has no ambitions to move up the ladder whereas an employee of 2 years has been humping to move up. Good place to work, has good values and great job security as long as there are banks around. The employee culture was fun, and relaxing for such a stressful job at times.

I would have loved to continue working with Loomis, but when the ecomony hit them, they had to lay off several people.They lost their largest account. I was in the cash vault and dealt with off site banks and had to balance after filling the cash orders. People were always ready to explain policies, as you can see I was only there for a few months before – more...  they let us go. Security was always in place due to the fact we had large sums of money, plus they also housed some of the Federal Reserve Bank cash flow. – less

Very poor place to work with no overtime pay. Good people are not rewarded.

loomis is a good company to work for.if my job hadn't moved from tuscaloosa to birmingham i would still be there.
