I was a email designer in the campaigns department. I was given zero training. Instead i was given busy work by 3 different people, while I somehow was supposed to teach myself how to navigate their odd and contradictory design workflow.
The car dealerships that we designed emails for were accustomed to getting whatever they wanted, even if that meant constantly breaking deadlines and policies.
None of this was explained to me. The cut off times for dealerships to request emails was 1pm. If a dealer requested a email at 5pm, we were still expected to accommodate them. This leads to high stress, workflow bottlenecking, lowered quality of design, and a just good enough mentality.
I was let go with absolutely no warning, no idea that the quality of my work or process was lacking in anyway. I was never once spoken too about any areas I needed improvement in or anything at all.
This company needs a formal training structure. It needs a management overhaul, it also needs more accountability.
My manager is cold, calculating, completely unsympathetic to my situation. She had zero interest in investing any time to working with me to fix what ever issues she thought I had. She never mentioned anything that I did wrong, she was very vague and fleeting.
If you're interested in job security, stay far away from Autoloop. I am not allowed to mention any names however I will say this, out of all the seasons, I like winter. Summer on the other hand is the worst. If Summer was a person, then Summer would be the most incompetent, foul, unprofessional, rude, joke of person I've ever met.
