Working for the Los Angeles Police Department was the best job I ever had. As far as police departments go, this is the Best in the country. Best trained, most professional, and by far the most prestigious department out there. However, there is never enough money to be paid to those who put their lives on the line every day.
Police Officer (Former Employee) – Mission Hills, CA – March 6, 2017
Working as a police officer is fun but stressful at times. It takes a mature and level headed person who can handle things under extreme pressure. I loved my job, but the department had its flaws especially with its management. The hours can be very long, but the pay is worth it.I would recommend this department to anyone who is looking to get into law enforcement.
