Very Professional Work Enviornment
Dental Assistant, Hammond, LA - December 28, 2015
Start each day by looking over the schedule and making sure that all material we need is on hand and in op for patient care. Setting up rooms and going over treatments with the Doctors making sure there isn't anything extra needed for the services. Helping other assistants that need help setting up Ops for their patients and getting any instruments needed. Preparing take home bag for after care with instruction on home oral health care. If one assistant is done before the other checking in making sure all products are in room and removing and instruments that need to be taking into sterilization for cleaning. Releasing any assistant that has worked over their lunch hour making sure we all had a fair time to eat. The best part of the day is seeing a patient walking out with a smile and higher self esteem. The worse part of my day is having to tell a patient that we have to refer them out to a specialist for treatment or not being able to get them out of pain they maybe having from a sore tooth.
