The company expects their managers to work very long hours, travel with no regard to family.
Restaurant General Manager (Former Employee) – Denton County, TX – December 31, 2017
Typical day of work. arrive at 5:30-6am leave 7-10pm.
What I learned: a good manager can build an amazing team. A bad manager can tear down an amazing team.
Management: it doesn't matter the knowledge, work ethic or integrity. If you want to be advanced you have to be the manager personal favorite.
Work place culture: it doesn't matter if you work your butt off and increase sales and lower turnover. it's about getting someone one in the door that costs them less money.
hardest part of the job: the super long hours and having to be away from my family
the most enjoyable part of the job; my crew, customers, and personal development.
Medical benefits, paid vacations
I never could take the vacation days that I earned.
