LutherCare Foundation is the fundraising arm of LutherCare Communities.
LutherCare Communities can only maintain its high standards of care with the continued support of its donors. The funding available through the health care system and other sources provides the basics. We need additional support:
to repair or replace equipment;
to give our staff – more... opportunities for personal growth;
to offer spiritual care to our residents and clients;
to build new facilities to meet the needs of the future
Current fundraising priorities are:
Development of a new intermediate care home at Luther Heights in Saskatoon;
Redevelopment of the Special Needs Unit at Luther Special Care Home;
Support for our group living homes;

LutherCare Foundation Announces The
Special people make each LutherCare location a unique and caring community.
Since the original Lutheran Sunset Home opened in 1955, LutherCare has touched the lives of thousands of residents and clients, their families, friends and faithful visitors, dedicated staff, volunteers, board members, donors, suppliers, and others who help in so many different ways.
All these special people come together in the shelter of the LutherCare tree, sharing God's love, and helping each other to lead healthy, active, fulfilling, and dignified lives.
Now, you can honor the special people who have helped create the LutherCare continuum of living.
For a minimum donation of $100, your leaf will be displayed on a 50th anniversary memory tree. You can inscribe the leaf to remember your own involvement with LutherCare or that of another person or organization.
Funds raised will support LutherCare anniversary programs, and projects in the specified departments or locations. The memory trees will be displayed until the 60th anniversary in 2015, unless unforeseen circumstances require their removal.
