Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at M.D.Anderson Cancer Center? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at M.D.Anderson Cancer Center?

Can anyone give me a range for medical oncologist who are 2 years out of residency? I've tried the website but it was not very helpful. I also called MD Anderson's HR Dept. but they referred me to their website :( Thanks! Lena

Once you start working there it's OK but the longer you stay there the wrost it gets as an employee. The managers are not fair and they really don't care for the employee. If you seems in be a intelligent person and black you will not last long there. I work in the BMA & BMT and Leukemia dept. and the Director was a very big nasty woman who had no respect for her employees. She lied on me with the HR dept. and they seen what was happening and suggest that I should be looking because she's trying to fire me. HR seen I was a very honest person that's why they suggested that in privite. The director knew I had a privite meeting with HR and wanted me to tell her what they said, I told her I wasn't going to tell her and she got upset again. There was not a week that went by I was not called into her office and HR was there as well. She was making up lies and every time se did it back fired on her. That Director "K.B." is a woman from hell and she really serve the devil full time. I would never go back there because the hospital is no place for politic, her and the supervisor Mary had team up aganist and was working on getting me out of there and they did. Now I heard Mary was told to leave, she made a mistake with a patient on their BMA and they could be facing a law suit. I hear the from time o time from a lot of people there and the same thing still goes on there right now today. I speak the throught only so help me God.

I have interviewed twice at MDA but am not able to speak with a recruiter regarding any openings at MDA. I find it difficult working with such a large employer with no way of talking with a HR person or a recruiter.
