Job summary

  • Manages a variety of Supervisor and HR/Associate Relations activities by performing the following duties:

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation for each employee, including such information as absences, investigation, reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations
  • Use sound judgment to evaluate risks and seek advice when appropriate
  • Identify issues and assess problems using a logical problem solving approach
  • Identify opportunities for improving and streamlining work processes
  • Support new initiatives by demonstrating ability to focus on positive outcomes
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
  • Exhibit flexibility, creativity, consistency, fairness, discretion and trust
  • Listen to and use new information appropriately
  • Exercise listening, questioning, motivating, influencing, and decision making skills
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees.
  • Demonstrate ability to articulate policies, their applications and the importance of adherence
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time , walk or be mobile enough to cover large areas of a manufacturing facility including climbing stairs

Summary of Daily Job Functions

  • Facilitate daily team meetings
  • Daily interacting with section leaders, section managers and associates
  • Audit time records
  • Audit and authorize all associate paper work
  • Manage daily work activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2-5 years related work experience
  • Must be flexible and able to work a night shift position (Length of shift will vary)

Compensation

  • $35K- $40K, DOE
