Job Description:
The Technical Support Specialist position is responsible for supporting both our internal and external patient technical support needs. The Technical Support Specialist will perform daily desktop and device support, administration and maintenance, as well as supporting our patients with on-site and/or phone support.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist with the implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages
  • Assist patients with the setup of mobile health devices and apps
  • Trouble shooting of mobile health devices and apps
  • Reach out to exiting patients to ensure tech compliance
  • Customer service surrounding tech for all patients
  • Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment
  • Implement technical solutions presented by the user community
  • Hardware and software evaluations


  • Technical support background or similar knowledge to support both Apple OSX & Microsoft Windows operating systems (OSX 10.6.8 and above & Windows XP and above)
  • Possess a solid understanding of both wired and wireless networks
  • A+, N+, MCP, Mac Integration Basics (or similar experience)
  • Proficient in Bluetooth technology (pairing and troubleshooting)
  • Strong understanding of IOS and Android OS
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (specifically Outlook)
  • Proficient with Apple iWork products
  • Experience with Parallels virtual machines
  • Experience with troubleshooting network printer issues
  • A/V basic knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills
