MDS Communications has an immediate opening for an Account Manager (AM) to serve on our conservative political and public policy team. An AM is a non-sales, Fundraising/Development position within our Client Services Department at the Mesa, AZ location. An AM manages client relationships and is responsible for developing and overseeing every aspect of the telephone fundraising campaigns for approx. 20 organizations. They are responsible for dialoguing with clients, understanding the client's overall development goals, scheduling their campaigns, writing telephone scripts, developing the gift fulfillment letter package and analyzing performance of data. They interface with other departments regarding the implementation of campaign details and they conduct training for the Communication Specialists who will call on the campaign. They also work to develop creative strategies to identify and secure new donors for the organization.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in the non-profit development field is preferred. College degree in Political Science, Business, Communications, Marketing or other Liberal Arts is preferred, but other majors will be considered. In addition, candidates must have a strong passion and understanding of the issues our clients address. They should have strong oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, project management skills, and creative abilities. They must be able to multi-task and have a strong attention to detail.
