Moody Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Marketing Assistant in their Galveston office.
The ideal candidate will provide sales, customer service, and administrative support to the Vice President of Marketing for Life and Annuities. They will possess a professional presence, strong communication skills (verbal and written), be assertive as well as detail minded with the ability to multi-task.
- Assisting the VP of Marketing, Life and Annuities
- Handling the day to day administrative responsibilities of the department
- Facilitating and Scheduling Webinars
- Managing the Contracting Process
- Handling Inbound Customer Service Calls
- Preparing Quotes
- Training agents on Websites and Products
- Managing Agent Database
- Some outbound Marketing calls
- Working with Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
Preferred candidates will have a sales/marketing background with experience in the insurance industry. Ability to speak Spanish an asset.
The position pays $11.50 per hour for candidates with only admin experience. Candidates with proven sales/marketing experience in the insurance industry may qualify to be paid up to $13.50 per hour.
