I have nothing really negative to say about MRI Software LLC. Co-workers were very professional and positive for the most part. The on-site cafe is phenomenal. The quarterly events were nice to attend, certain departments tend to be tighter knit than others, however when it counts they all pull together as one team. All in all a great place to work

The company is good in that they are willing to train you, but there is a lack of communication between management and staff and the day to day is extremely stressful, expected to perform and complete tasks that aren’t possible within the time constraints. There has been some reworking and several people have had to take on new responsibilities (almost like a second position at the company) without being properly compensated for the extra work that they are doing. Working there I feel the need to consistently work overtime just to keep myself afloat, and even at certain times of the year they don’t allow you to work overtime, so no matter what you are swamped with work. They are starting to hire more people to spread out the work load, however, they should have done this months ago.
MRI was my first job after graduating college. They did a great job getting a person from a school environment to a work environment. training was quite extensive and could have been cut down but it also provided job security. All new employees had to go through it so replacing people wasn't very easy.

This was a great company when it was operated by Intuit and known as Intuit Real Estate Solutions. Since they were acquired by Vista Equity Partners in early 2010, quite a few loyal, hard-working employees with many years of service have been systematically laid-off with very little severance pay and no job placement assistance. They have been replaced by cheaper, inexperienced college grads. Employees that remain expect someone will eventually tap them on the shoulder to tell them their services are no longer needed. Benefits have been significantly reduced. A questionable and lengthy aptitude test is used to screen potential job applicants. There is incompetency and lack of concern for anything but the bottom-line.
Open / Relaxed Environment with bad communitication

My co-workers are great, the work environment is relaxing. The hardest part of my job is keeping up all the phone calls we received. Management is horrible and rewarding employee's and providing the proper communication.

This company was purchased from Intuit in 2010. While under Intuit, it was a wonderful Fortune 500 to work for. Great benefits, excellent compensation, innovative management, enjoyable place to work. Once the company was sold it all became about the bottomline and the employees got lost in the shuffle.
