Millennium Services 2000 + Incorporated, a small women-owned federal government contractor is seeking a Contracts Administrator who can conduct competitive assessments, develop teaming strategies, identify and qualify teammates, and negotiate teaming agreements, subcontracts, and statements of work. When required by the proposal team, the Contract Administrator will participate in proposal development activities discussed in the proposal planning phase. Acting on behalf of the opportunity’s executive sponsor, the Contract Administrator will identify the resources required to pursue the bid, establish processes, budgets, and plans necessary for pursuit, and manage their execution

To join our team, you must have the ability to:

  • Maintenance of Contract files
  • Ensuring old contracts are archived and properly closed out
  • Monitor contract deliverable schedule
  • Verify contract compliance
  • Perform procurement and contract/sub-contract administration functions during the pre-award, post-award, and closeout phases of the procurement process
  • Coordinate all processes related to contract life cycles
  • Coordinate with finance staff to ensure proper billing and collection of contractual revenue
  • Monitoring contract budgets monthly
  • Reporting monthly to Project Officers on status
  • Manage communications between clients; manage client access to all available resources to ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Perform competitive analysis and secondary research as needed.
  • Serve as negotiator and intermediary between GSA and client organization on all contract matters.
  • As contract subject matter expert, advises management of contractual rights, FAR, FOIA, and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions, and assists in developing policy
  • Provides creative leadership from knowledge of industry best practices and most current developments in contract administration
  • Develop and implement process for regular reporting on contract issues and performance
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of contract database

Qualifications:

  • Excellent professional attitude and demeanor, as this position requires constant interface with the client
  • Multi-tasking and ability to coordinate work within a team on specified and multiple projects
  • MS Excel, MS Project Management, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Advanced writing and grammar skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette & voice quality
  • Understanding of contracts and legal compliance
  • Working knowledge of FAR

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five to seven (5-7) years’ experience in the preparation, administration and monitoring of contracts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus

This is a non-exempt employee classification position.
