Responsibilities

In this exciting and dynamic position you'll be a critical member of the mSpot Radio development team. You will be part of a team responsible for creating systems to deliver radio content. Our Software Engineers are involved in the whole software development life cycle: from requirements definition to customer delivery. Technical responsibilities include software design, effort estimation, implementation, unit testing, integration, and bug fixes. Our Software Engineers own their product and work closely with the Quality Assurance Group to ensure a successful end user experience.

Skills and Experience

Required:

  • BS or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2+ years of commercial programming experience
  • Development experience in LAMP
  • Experience in implementing scalable backend services

Desired:

  • Background in video and audio encoding and streaming
  • Flash programming experience
  • Web services
  • Knowledge of agile/scrum development methodologies
