Our new startup called MyTime sits at the intersection of online local advertising and e-commerce. Customers can find, book and pay for open appointments from top local businesses directly through our website.

We have created an exciting new experience for connecting offline merchants with online customers. We are trying to redefine marketing for local, appointment-based businesses. We have a great product which delights both customers and merchants.

How it Works: To ensure customers find out about open appointments and great deals, we intelligently promote the appointment openings across multiple online ad platforms such as Google, Facebook and Twitter.

Through a concept called dynamic pricing, we ensure merchants earn the maximum possible revenue from open times, while making sure the appointment gets filled before it expires. The appointment booking and payment collection all happen seamlessly on our website (and soon, our mobile app).

We are looking for talented people to help us grow our business. In particular, we need your help to grow the base of high quality local merchants using our service. Some examples of businesses currently on our site include spas, chiropractors, dentists, auto detailers, acupuncture clinics and more.

Job Responsibilities

Account Executives interact with great merchants every day and revolutionize the way they advertise and attract new customers. Account executives own the entire sales cycle from developing leads to managing long-term relationships with our merchants. They are creative in using online and social media resources to develop leads, and make daily outbound sales calls to sign-up local business owners. This rep will be responsible for initial contact all the way through a full setup of the merchants that participate with our site. They are also passionate about ensuring that each business is successful once signed up. Account Executives will be a member of the team in our San Francisco office and will be encouraged to participate in other projects with marketing, product, etc. They are excited about what we’re doing as a company, and want to be an integral part of MyTime’s journey!

Required Skills

You’ll need to have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic sales role. You’re self-motivated to meet aggressive sales targets and are extremely efficient with your time. You have top-notch communication skills – both written and verbal, on the phone and in person – and are able to adapt your style across a wide audience. You are insightful and can recognize and track patterns across merchants, and communicate them with the rest of the team.

Minimum requirements

1-2 years experience in sales (will consider recent grads with transferable skills)
Some experience in phone sales preferred
Self motivator with strong communication skills
Fluent in Spanish (preferred, not required)
