I love working with patients.
I learned a lot and taught alot of things.
Management was not so good at times.
My co workers were "Excellent".
The hardest part of the job is when we were short of staff, but i made the best of it.
The most enjoyable is when the patient miss me when im off of work.

Was fun to work there, meet different people, talk and help others, was never a boring day.

A typical day at work? I would analyze and respond to claim denials via phone or websites to the insurance carriers. Resolutions of claims from edits, rejected claims, appeals with all payers and insurance correspondences. Completed the required daily quota of 60 invoices per day.

This was my first collection position; I learned the process of collections.

The co-workers were nice and hard workers.

The hardest part of the job back then was the guidelines for each carriers; after several months working as a collector it became much easier.

When i started my afternoon shift i oversaw all cleaning responsibilities & did inventory. The working environment had a family atmosphere. All of the employees had a open door policy with management. Our employees communicated well with each other & helped out when needed. Even though there are a lot of supervisors and manager no one really cares. Communication is poor. Usually their way of communicating is by telling one person and that other person gets to tell someone else, and eventually the message ends up completely changed.

The interview process was slow. Good place to start your career

Amazing hospital to work for. Everyone is very personable and overall pleasant.

My supervisors and fellow workers were proud of their association with this fine hospital. Everyone worked well together as a team to accomplish our goals. One of the toughest parts of the job was that we sometimes had to work on holidays so as to close out a month on time. Also, adjusting charges was a difficult part of the job. The job itself is not complicated or physically hard to do but the attitudes of co-workers could be more positive. The management could do a better job overseeing employees. The hardest part of the job is maintaining composure on days that are hectic. Teaching hospital programs are excellent. Management is very unorganized. Workers are back bone to this organization, thus they are not well recognized for their dedication in the background. Employees have a very pessimistic view of their time at this organization.

Macneal is a great place to work with great hours but the management was unfair to me

Was a high-stress working environment at times, but then again what hospital isn't...

This was a nonprofit hospital that was purchased by a for profit and some of the values changed.

Depending on where you work or what you are looking to do, some will try to higher from within. Only certain areas are competitive when it comes to salary, but this is a for profit hospital... Staff is normally very friendly, but like any work enviorment there can be issues.

Full of drama vendictive coworkers and argumentative and petty management..Very unorganized facility to say the least

Great work place with friendly employees who go above and beyond for their patients.
