Stocker (Former Employee), Tampa, FLMarch 21, 2014
Pros: i enjoyed working in the warehouse with great people
Cons: no enough hours
My day with start with loading and unloading boxes. The boxes that were unloaded we would have to place on shelves or racks. The trainers were very helpful and took their time to show the proper places everything needed to go.

Production was ran smoothly
Material Handler (Former Employee), Joppa, MarylandFebruary 11, 2014
Pros: easy root to work and parking. pay was acceptional for that kind of job.
Cons: the hours were shifty at times, hours may have been limited or extended daily.
Most of the time company had their shipments ran in order and on time. Plenty of space to complete assignment. Work always started and ended on time unless Voluntary Time Off became a option. I learned how to receive, replenish, pick, pack and ship merchandise. The management could have been more nice to the staff but had all the answers to most of – more... our questions. My co-workers were very helpful and stayed in good spirits with one another. The hardest part of the job was the walking to and from certain areas. The most enjoyable part of the job was reaching the daily quota. It was easy to reach our goal for the day which made the management extremely happy and treated the employees for jobs getting completed. – less

UPS Operator/Bounce Back /Merchandise Checker (Former Employee), St. Louis, MONovember 8, 2012
Pros: advances
Cons: short lunch
Macy's, was Famous Barr Warehouse when i work for them before the company taken over. The managers and the employees work together this was a fast pace job getting the merchandise out to the stores doing each season to come in. I enjoy fast pace, and changes with this i mean where ever in the building has lack of worker you gets the chance to go and – more... help. – less

Productive and professional workplace
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee), Miami, FLOctober 1, 2012
Pros: one hour lunch, healthcare
Cons: job security, lack of hours
A typical day at work consisted of me doing shipping and receiving first thing in the morning, then i would be responsible for extraditing orders from the que pad for the remainder of the day. I learned how to receive and organize massive amounts of inventory that were to be placed in the warehouse. My co-workers and management were respectful and professional. – more... I rarely met with management due to the fact that I was constantly working. The hardest part of the job was working determining which items needed to be shipped out and which items needed to be logged in our inventory. The most enjoyable part of my job was working with a staff that was all on the same page. Which made the day much more productive! – less
