A United Auto Workers facility.
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) –  Excelsior Springs, MOJanuary 10, 2018
Being a United Auto Workers facility, there were a lot benefits and with Ford Assembly Plant being our customer, every aspect of our operation had to meet their standards...which were very high. That created a very dynamic environment.

Fast paced - hard on the body
Line Operator (Former Employee) –  Shepherdsville, KYOctober 25, 2017
Good job but very physically demanding and hard on the body. Long hours combined with lack of climate control. Forced OT for shortage of workers on other shifts - three days you are supposed to be off you might have to work one or two with only one day off. You need your three days to recover from the long hours and relieve the pain in your hands legs and feet.
Pros
Nice pay quarterly gift cards for goals met profit share
Cons
Long hours hot in the summer freezing in the winter very demanding on body

Manufacturing Engineering in Shepherdsville KY
Manufacturing Engineer (Current Employee) –  Shepherdsville, KYOctober 12, 2017
If you're an engineer considering working here, I would NOT recommend it. No work/life balance, working most weekends. Engineering management is very incompetent and quick to point the finger, not stand up for you. If your an engineer looking to advance your career, this is not the place for you. Look at the next job posting.
Pros
None
Cons
Poor management, no work/life balance

Production Operation (Current Employee) –  Spring Hill, TNApril 8, 2017
there are a few things that can be addressed. as when working they want the employees to respect but in turn there should be respect.
I understand there are a few to the many that need to earn respect but majority are older people that understand the concept of work and do not deserve to be yelled at. if they could weed out those that just want a check with those that actually want to work. our job would be much better.

Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) –  Spring Hill, TNMarch 2, 2017
It was a good experience and I met a lot of really cool people. I'm not a talkative person so Magna was a good fit because if there was no problem I didn't have to speak.

This is not a good company to work for. They do not give you a 48 hour notice for forced overtime. They tell you the day before, not even 24 hours before that shift. You receive a point against your attendance if you can not work that forced overtime. This place is a joke.
