In-House Practice: Our in-house team specialises in recruiting corporate counsel at all levels. Our corporate clients range from major multinationals and Fortune 500 companies to more local organisations. We have an excellent track record in assisting our clients recruit and build their legal functions within – more... this region. Notably, we have enjoyed huge success in assisting corporations recruit their first China counsel. Recent successes include the recruitment of the inaugural General Counsel, Asia for Starbucks Coffee International, several senior in-house roles in various divisions of Honeywell International Inc., and the Chief IP Counsel, Asia, for GE. Financial Services Practice: Our financial services practice consistently acts for top tier international investment banks, asset managers, funds and other major financial organisations. Our expertise within this area includes recruiting into legal departments, transaction management teams, corporate finance, asset management, compliance and regulatory positions throughout the region, including country-specific transactional and compliance roles. We recently recruited the General Counsel of a major multinational investment bank, a very valued client of our firm, in addition to repeat engagements from one of the world's largest banks, as it continues to build its legal team across Asia. Law Firm Practice: In our law firm business, we help open new offices, advise on expansion, restructuring, marketing and business development. We recruit partners, associates and key senior management including business development and human resources executives. We also represent lateral partners and groups of partners, in assisting them to transition to a new law firm and have enjoyed significant notable successes here including representing a team of U.S securities/private equity partners, a funds management partner and team of associates and a China tax partner. Other recent achievements include the introduction of the inaugural Managing Partner in the Shanghai office of a Wall Street firm, at the time of this firm's entry into the China market and the recruitment of the Head of Securitisation, Asia, for a leading U.S. firm, based in Tokyo. With our network of U.S and London offices, we regularly assist candidates at both associate and partner level to relocate to Asia from North America and across Europe.
Most of our consultants are qualified lawyers; we have all been connected with the legal profession in previous careers, through experience in premier international law firms, in-house legal teams and related service professions. We fully identify with the issues faced by our lawyer clients and candidates well beyond their recruitment needs: we used to do their jobs. Our consultants share a genuine interest in the legal industry and career planning in Asia. We are experienced public speakers and corporate trainers.
