Make-Up Designory, a rapidly growing & highly respected New York licensed private postsecondary school is seeking qualified full-time & part-time faculty for our Manhattan campus.
Utilizing our proven instructional model, state-of-the-art training materials and industry-tested products, our instructors leverage their passion, expertise and personal flair to develop top-notch, well prepared make-up artists for our evolving industry.

Successful candidates will have the equivalent of a high school diploma and 5+ years make-up experience in film and television, and should know how to make and apply prosthetic appliances. These positions also require sensitivity to student needs; excellent presentation, listening and conflict-resolution skills; strong planning, organization and administrative capabilities; and the ability to demonstrate technical concepts with 100% accuracy.
As a state-licensed school, instructors are required to have the appropriate background to be initially licensed by the State of New York. Once hired, instructors must successfully complete 90 hours of state mandated teacher training, + required in-house training conducted by Make-up Designory.
