Greyston Bakery, one of the leading social enterprises in the country, is looking for a client facing person with strong project management skills, who is equally comfortable with thinking about strategy and operations, to manage our customer relationships. The Client Relations Manager / Project Manager will ensure we are providing the best service and value to our customers (customer service, cost, quality, social and environmental sustainability, timely delivery, logistics and supply chain management, etc.). Using a consultative approach, the Client Relations Manager / Project Manager will proactively identify and resolve client challenges, work directly with customers to improve their business performance, and in turn identify potential growth opportunities for Greyston.

Strategic thinking, project management, and client service are the core skills that will determine success, interpersonal and leadership skills are essential, including building relationships (internally and externally), communicating effectively, generating consensus and commitment, and influencing colleagues to deliver on the initiatives and service levels the Client Relations Manager / Project Manager is responsible for.

The Account Client Relations Manager / Project Manager interacts with people at all levels of our entrepreneurial, small business, manufacturing organization AND with people at different levels of corporate and large business organizations.

This is not a "9 to 5" job in that if something needs to be done, we value "doing what it takes"

Food industry (or related) experience is preferred

Manufacturing experience is preferred

Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal; you create well written, professional, thorough emails, business letters, and reports

Are well organized, can create your own "dashboard" of items to track

Can be a "boundary spanner", adjusting communication styles to different audiences from vastly different cultures, from factory floor to up-through-the-ranks factory managers to corporate logistics, marketing, and brand managers, and so forth

Can break down a problem into its key points, present options, and draw conclusions

Have superb organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail (including creating project plans)

Are self-motivated, persistent and flexible

Have at least a working knowledge of financial principles

Salary: Mid $60,000 to Mid $70,000 depending on experience
