Not a great place to work as a technical staff
Senior Software Analyst (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAApril 26, 2017
All development is offshored so working as technical staff you will get very rusty if you do not spend a lot of time outside of work honing your craft. Extremely high amount of travel and no work-life balance. I have worked 80 hour weeks the last 6 months with no end in sight.
Pros
Compensation, 401 match
Cons
No room for life

Good Place to work out of college
PSO Consultant - Order Lifecycle Management (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAApril 12, 2017
A typical day consists of testing code fixes from India team, preparing documents for client and internal testing, internal/external meetings. Lot of skills are learned such as critical thinking, problem solving, SQL, how to produce high quality work on tight deadlines. This job is very demanding and high-pressure, as Manhattan charges its clients a lot of money for their solutions. Management is very open to employee opinions and care about employee morale. There are many company-wide events and you get to work with extremely talented people.
Pros
Compensation (although better at some competitors), company culture, skills learned, extremely talented colleagues
Cons
Work-life balance

Manhattan is a good company for consultants rather than technical folks. Company gives far more importance to functional knowledge. Lots of good people to work with. Will learn a lot about industry.
Pros
Will gain lots of knowledge

Great people, great compensation, do your research
PSO Consultant (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMarch 7, 2017
Great job, wonderful people, but make sure you are okay with working in software. They recruit a lot of business majors/industrial engineers, and sometimes its like fitting a square peg in a round hole if you don't have an idea about what you are getting into.
Pros
compensation, great people, good culture
Cons
just make sure you like software

PSO Software Consultant (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAFebruary 14, 2017
Manhattan Associates consists of great co-workers and a flexible work environment. Work/Life balance can be a challenge, but Manhattan makes up for it in many other ways to help their employees.

Not someplace to be at forever
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 17, 2016
Best place for someone with no kids, no life. Management sucks and extremely low pay. Hours are long and don't pay overtime and doctors are inconsiderate, staff are messy and gossip too much.

Great Doctors
Front Desk Receptionist (Former Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 6, 2016
Front desk was a good job. There was not really an opportunity for advancement. It was a good place to work though. A nice office setting.

A typical work day was spent checking in patients in the morning, making sure their charts and visit records made the necessary rounds from the front desk, to exam rooms, into the hands of treating clinical professionals, and back to the front desk. Upon patients' checkouts, we were to process their referrals, collect payment and copayments if necessary, and then enter their prescription information. We also scheduled appointments and made necessary follow-up calls, for patient reminders and regarding referrals, etc.
Pros
Free lunches, courtesy of drug rep. Great location, in Murray Hill, Manhattan New York
Cons
No career advancement, no benefits.

Strong team, but overworked in Support
Support Consultant (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAOctober 6, 2016
The Customer Support Organization contains many talented team members and a caring management team. Unfortunately, the Implementation and Development Organizations will seek to do as little as possible to make sure a project is ready for go-live. Issues are left to the Support Consultants after go-live, and the team is typically overworked and lacks support.
