POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Architect, design, and implement extensive web-based applications and products.
- Design and develop new features and web products, including requirements gathering, estimating, coding, and testing.
- Communicate status of projects and give accurate completion forecasts.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related.
- 5+ years of web programming/architect experience.
- 2+ years experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, jQuery and dynamic web programming (ColdFusion/ PHP/ASP/JSP/RUBY).
- Strong SQL programming and database management experience.
- Experience designing, developing and supporting distributed enterprise web applications.
- Self-motivated, quick learner who can manage multiple projects with minimal direction.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- UI design a plus.
