Great learning and growing environment
Resident Assistant (Current Employee) – Hickory Hall – March 16, 2017
As a resident assistant I would work my assigned hours at the front desk answering questions, signing out kitchen and entertainment equipment. Also addition hours are required to be in bedroom for the residents. These times can be spent doing school work in addition to necessary RA business such as hall decorations, door tags, or program planning. I learned the importance of time management and how to work as a team with all walks of life. Management was a major role in this job because they would be our first contact for any issues in the halls. The workplace culture gives an overview of the real world bringing all cultures together under one roof. The hardest part of my job is having enough time in the day for RA duties, school work duties, a work study job, and athletics. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people I work with and the people I interact with.
