I just enjoyed this Job nothing bad to say! You just come to work and do your job. My co-workers were amazing.If i ever had a problem i could always talk to my management with no problem at all! the job was easy fun and rewarding because at the end of the day i made someone smile.

A typical workday at Mapco is first making sure everything is stocked and in order. You great customers who walk into the establishment and help them with matters that need to be attended to. Management was always friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic, along with the people I worked with. I enjoyed meeting new people, and helping them in anyway I could.

Enjoyed working at one of Mapco's smallest stores. Loved the customers most of whom had been regulars at that store for 25-30 years.

I enjoyed working with the customers, the fast pace and meeting new people,

I spend a lot of my time at the register making transactions and suggesting sales. Any downtime I have is spent cleaning, stocking, and repair if needed.

Not the safest job, especially a Midnight shift. A good friend got shot in a robbery. Right through her hand and thigh. Trooper that she is, she was right back the next night. As the assistant manager, it was my job to reconsile, reconsile, and reconsile. The daily totals, the cigarette count, the inventory, the credit totals, everything. And of course – more... stock and clean, and handle customers, and make and scan the weekly deliveries and count the beer. I liked the clientelle, and I got to know most everybody in the neighborhood. – less

you are not allowed to put up signs on broken items so customers are constantly complaining to you. prices change and e-mails are sent out informing mgrs however she doesnt change them when she is supposed to so customers are overcharged for items with signs with different prices. lots of drama and gossip, you get a lot of hours if you want them however – more... they are so scattered you cant get on any type of normal schedule – less

get to work, count my drawer, work register, do different cleaning task at the end of shift paper work. I learn how to do my job well. The people I worked with were nice. The hardest part of my job was discrimination.

Great opportunity to learn money handling and improve customer service skills. Working the third shift was very peaceful.

A typical day at work is preparing for my lunch rush. Making sure everything in order and ready to go. I learn you have to ready and able to deal with anything in the management field. I love my co-workers they try hard to work as team but sometimes have their issue. The hardest part of my job is making sure I have reliable people. Mapco was like working with your family, some days are good, some are bad, but it was fun to work there.

A TYPICAL DAY AT WORK FOR ME WAS CLOCKING IN GREETING EMPLOYEES GETTING MY DAILY DUTY SHEET TO START MY WORK.CO-WORKERS WAS HELPFUL TO WORK WITH.LEARNED HOW TO STOCK SHELVES ACCORDINGLY.THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB WAS STOCKING THE COOLER AND THE ENJOYABE PART WAS MEETING CUSTOMERS.

I work 8 hours day everyday for one whole month without a day off. The job consists of cleaning the parking lots, taking out trash, handle cash, helping customers, and stocking. I did not work with many co-works because we had one person per shift. The job was not hard but I hated that we would get new store managers every month. I enjoyed the company and the training I received while there. However, they were not consistant and the made the job unbearable at times. Also, they were not willing to give any raises even after one year + with the company.

Little to no job advancement with an atmosphere of negativity and feelings of no trust

Loading and unloading trailers.

I WORKED OVER NIGHT, SO IT WASNT SAFE AT ALL. SOME TIME I WAS THERE BY MY SELF
