Low pay, but good for people starting out in the field
Behavioral Health Technician (Former Employee) – Mesa, AZ – September 14, 2016
Work in home with SMI individuals, following an ABA behavior plan. There are many trainings and optional trainings which are well facilitated. Most of the coworkers are very friendly and helpful. The managers are overloaded with work, there are not enough managers employed. Some of the managers engage in gossip. Office politics is part of the culture. The ABA analysts are amazing at their jobs and fair, good people. The hardest parts of the job are office politics, some coworkers gossip, some clients can be agresive (but the company does provide training for that), and low pay compared to other companies in the area. The most enjoyable parts were interacting with the clients, taking clients to fun places, more than half of the coworkers are friendly and helpful, and Marc Center will hire people with little experience (which was good for me, and I gained tons of experience).
