Marian Manor

Marian Manor was dedicated on Ascension Day, May 18, 1956, and opened for occupancy the next day. The total capacity was ninety beds. The original objective was to provide a restful, peaceful atmosphere for retired business men, women, and/or couples.

As the needs of the elderly changed in our society and the number of elderly increased, Marian Manor
 – more... added another building in 1966. The capacity increased to 174 residents with three levels of care: skilled, intermediate and personal.

In the fall of 1990, Marian Manor broke ground for its second addition. With this new building the needs of 52 more nursing care residents could be met. A Child Day Care Center was also opened to provide care for children from six weeks to kindergarten age.

Continuing its mission to respond to the needs of the elderly, Marian Manor, in 1998, began the creation of a Special Care Unit to address the needs of those afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease. With the completion of the unit the needs of thirty-nine residents could be served.

Over its almost fifty years of existence, Marian Manor has maintained a reputation for giving compassionate and loving care to the frail elderly. We value and are committed to our mission of continuing the healing ministry of Jesus by providing a range of life-enhancing services and spiritually-uplifting support for the elderly. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
