Adult Probation Officer- Terrible! It was a 6 month process for me and in the end I did not get the job. I passed the interview with flying colors and the online assessment, then I passed the extensive back ground check a few months later. Then the final test was the polygraph, which I feared the least because I had absolutely nothing to hide. There were 3 categories of the polygraph exam and I did not pass one of them. I still believe it is because I feared getting a false negative, therefore I was nervous and tried too hard. As a result they did not hire me. I never felt more disappointed in my life. Just beware. The interview process is long and being a good human being is not enough to pass the polygraph test.
