While working at Marine Bank I was introduced to sales and cross selling and got the opportunity to work with a different variety of customers as well as co-workers. During my time spent with the company I learned a little bit more about how banks and financial institutions work on more than just a retail level which was interesting. I would have to say the hardest part of the job was ensuring that we were within compliance concerning any transactions over the amount of $10,000 because of the strict regulations and record keeping. The most enjoyable part of the job to me personally was handling some of the more required daily tasks such as balancing the vault and the atm and posting the transactions through branch capture. I mainly enjoyed those activities because those were the times of the day where I was most engaged seeing as how it was still a relatively new branch and I didn't handle very many transactions. Overall it was a pleasant work experience but not quite challenging enough for me.
