When Water Street Healthcare partners of Chicago purchased this company every part of the culture became all about the $$$ and not about people.
My manager and several other managers are FANTASTIC but none of them are not allowed to make any decisions due to "we know better" culture coming down from on high. This wouldn't be so bad but they won't even take a moment to listen and if anyone tries to assert anything they now fear losing their job after a few long term employees have been let go/downsized.
I would say 95% I am thankful for my time with the company, my only frustration came from the officers who I am sure were pressured by Water Street to make the almighty profit margin grow....all the while knowing the company already had way above average margins.
The company had a great vacation package and good (not great) benefits. The culture is stifling at the main building, not unlike most of corporate america...
