Terrible Job
Security guard (Current Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVSeptember 20, 2017
Poor foresight in management . Prepare to be watched by hawks. Everyone is out to get their's , so don't trust anyone. People will throw you under the bus because they are jealous or covering their mistake. You are on your own as far as clientele They don't care about your life outside of work, so if someone doesn't show up, you are stuck with their shift. If you leave because of something important, you're fired. Don't work for this company. Good luck getting a raise.

My post was an elder care property and was rewarding assiting the residents daily needs. Being a contractor was better than being empolyed by to community, this provided more job security.

Class D Security Officer / Gate Guard (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLSeptember 4, 2017
Marksman Security Corporation is a better than average security company. They have competitive pay and benefits. Management and the home office are really flexible and understanding about your schedule, or time off. I have worked for my share of security companies. This one tops them, so far.

Sometimes gets busy but its easy going, I've learn how to deal with situations where you require to make decisions. Management is very professional and care a lot about their workers. Sometimes there are guest that are very rude but that's how you learn how to be patient.

Receptionist (Former Employee) –  Ft. Lauderdale, FlAugust 12, 2017
A day at work consisted of high customer service and hourly reports. Supervision of about 12-32 cameras around and in the Hotel as well as walking the whole grounds and helping residents, guests, and employees access to building.

working front desk at a condominium is great you get to communicate with the resident that how you get to the person and what unit they stay so when a package arrives you can just let them know while walking in the building. you check the cameras to see if the building is safe for the resident.
Pros
everyday you learn something new

Assigned to different locations. Clients are great. Unfortunately its a low paying position no raises and you pay for uniforms and equipment. Its an easy job just no advancement opportunities.

Horrible experience
Security Officer (Former Employee) –  Henderson, NVJune 28, 2017
Marksman was great at first until you start seeing the management and veteran officers for who they really are. They site leads and road supervisors give DAR's for every little thing even when you are not at fault. There is no team work everyone is for them self and are very spiteful. Overall a great to a horrible experience do not work with them.

Security Officer (Current Employee) –  Savanna, weston.May 24, 2017
Very hard for new people to get down but it will build your strength in a lot of areas in security. The job that i worked at gave me no luch breaks. Expected me to come 10 min earlier to my shift. And cover for anyone who missed there shift. Meaning 16 jours of work with just 30 min of break.
Pros
None. Good starter
Cons
The job will ask a lot of overtime from you.

I work for this company for almost 2 years, and that was not a great experience. They never give their employees any type of raise, the employees did not have any pay vacation. The company was a little unprofessional.
