Markstein Beverage Company is a good company to work for. They treat you well and reward hard work. They system was not the greatest, though it might have changed since my leaving. Most of the management was good at their jobs with one or two exceptions. I would recommend it to anyone looking to be recognized for their work ethic.
A typical day at work is 8-12 hours, depending on holidays and sales. No one leaves till the orders are pulled and built as it should be. I learned how to use a claw attachment on a forklift while there and first used a riding jack as well. Most of the employees were very hard workers who focus on the task at hand, making it easier to get the job done.
The hardest part of the job is the long hours of continual labor, but a seasoned worker would not find that hard to endure. The easiest part of the job is the job itself. It is pretty basic and straight forward. Any thing that could be troublesome is easily dealt with by asking and watching the veterans.
