Content contributors and Web environment administrators can access all the Marqui features through a Web browser. Customized templates are created by a system administrator for your account to incorporate the branding colors, formats and fonts of your organization. Marqui is the only Web communications management tool that is offered as a true hosted Web service. What is the Role of a Marqui User?

The example on the right illustrates how simple it is for any Marqui user to modify very specific sections of a page. The lower image represents the home page of a Marqui demo site, while the upper image represents the same page in editable, plain text boxes inside the Marqui application. The arrows connect the plain text boxes with the corresponding sections of the published Web page. Marqui users edit Web site content using the plain text boxes in the Marqui application and the changes are published to the live site once they have passed through approval process you have defined for that section of the Web site.

Marqui offers a comprehensive solution for effective workflow through its use of hierarchical user types: all changes to the site go into an approval queue that is ultimately controlled by the highest level user--a 'Maestro'. Writer and Composer users edit and approve content changes and then submit their changes to a Maestro user for final review, approval and publishing to the live site(s). This gatekeeper function ensures that the content is approved by the correct individuals prior to release and that the look, feel and language of released content always represents your corporate image, regardless of how many people provide input.

It is possible to have an unlimited number of Writer Composer and Maestro users within your organization and group them into logical workflow processes. Workflow processes allow different departments within your organization to control their own content efficiently.
