Firm seeks litigation associate with a portable book of labor and employment business. The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years experience. Candidate for the position will have hands-on experience handling employment disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination and wage & hour matters, ADA, FMLA, CFRA, FEHA, PDL, and counseling employers on employment handbooks; severance agreements, and employment agreements. This person should also possess good research and writing skills; prior case management, law and motion, arbitration, and mediation experience. This person should have argued, written, and drafted various types of motions and demurrers. This person will also be expected to bill hours and work a professional schedule. Bring your client base and you will be provided with support, collaboration, and the benefits that come from incorporating your practice into a larger, well-recognized firm.
