FUN PLACE TO WORK
PATIENT ACCESS REPRESENTIVE (Former Employee), Williamston, NCOctober 17, 2014
Pros: good co workers
Cons: manager gets upset with employees, or discussed other employees failures with other employees.
NOT ENOUGH TRAINING, CO-WORKER WERE GREAT, HARDEST PART OF JOB WAS WATCHING THE MANAGER SHOW HER BAD SIDE IN FRONT OF PATIENTS WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO PAY FOR SERVICES, OR HAVING THEM MADE TO FEEL AS IF THEY WERE LYING ABOUT HAVING NO MONEY AT THE TIME, AND IF THEY DIDNOT PAY OR GIVE SOMETHING THEY COULD NOT HAVE THEIR SERVICES DONE, WHICH WAS RECOMMENDED – more... BY THEIR DOCTORS, IN TURN THEY WOULD TAKE THEIR SERVICES SOMEWHERE ELSE – less

Enjoyable place to work
staff nurse (Current Employee), Williamston, NCAugust 6, 2014
Pros: small hospital
Cons: very busy with sometimes little help with staffing
I am in the OR so my typical day starts at 0630 and ends when the cases are done. Team work is an important skill set learned in my department. We use team work skills to care for our patients day in and day out. My co-workers are thoughtful of each other and work well together. The hardest part of my job is taking call and having to get up in the middle – more... of the night for an emergency surgery. However I do enjoy getting off early in the afternoons as our schedule usually allows. – less

Staff at this hospital is great, upper management is not in the real world of health care.

The part I found most enjoyable about this job was the patients that I cared for and my co-workers.

Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee), Williamston, NCAugust 14, 2012
Pros: on call still get paid
Cons: not enough help when needed
long days when there is not alot of patient, friendly co-workers, the hardest part of the job when there is not alot of help when needed, the enjoyable part of the job is just to have a job.
