A typical work day varies because I can make my own hours. I have learned how to hold and plan parties and work around my full-time schedule to make some extra money on the side. The hardest part of the job is finding time from my full-time job to make time for Mary Kay. The most enjoyable part of this job is the flexibility and the people that I work with!

* maintained a balance for my director * I learned the importance of customer service * management was excellent. provided lots of support * excellent coworkers and many content experts * hardest part of job was developing customer base * most enjoyable part of the job was working with the directors to set up the parties and generating income from them
excellent opportunities, many at higher levels were willing to do whatever they could to assist
more benefits besides products would have been nice. ex: medical benefits
Made calls daily to set up consultations and attended weekly sales meetings. I enjoyed meeting new people and helping provide products that satisfied their needs. The market was saturated with MK consultants, so finding new clients was a challenge. Client appointments were usually evenings and weekends which was not optimal.
Some days were spent at home emailing, texting, and calling customers to sell cosmetics. And others were spent having a Mary Kay party and completing sales. Mary Kay has taught me how to handle all sorts of people. The hardest part of the job was getting people to buy the cosmetics when they did not believe in the business. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with people.

A typical day at Mary Kay, Inc. is going into a session with a group of individuals, mostly women and performing skin care classes to teach women how to have long term skins results. What I love about Mary Kay is that their is no co-workers involved; however, our team do meet on a regular basis to reward each individual for their own personal efforts for their business. I enjoy the meeting simply because individuals from all walks of life attend and I can get first hand techniques to better by business. The most rewarding part of my job is to see women who may have came with low self esteem, depression issues, or self worth issues gain confident in herself again knowing that she aren't along.
