I work my business when I want. I sell Mary Kay just to have extra money. It is a great Company.

I enjoyed working for Mary Kay initially however it was difficult to keep up a customer base causing me to slowly pull away from the company.

I send out profiles to Churches, I send out Facebook messages and offer specials to get new clients. I have learned to be more outgoing and to not let fear hold me back from offering a wonderful service. The hardest part of the job is the fear but the most enjoyable part is when I face that and succeed.

A typical day entails networking with a variety of woman and companies. In this business I have learned that a "no" brings you that much closer to the next "yes". At this time in my life, this was a very convenient job for me. as a first year college student, I needed a job with flexible hours. This job is what you make of it. The more you put into your small business, the more you get out of it.

I have only been with this company for a few months but I love how flexable this company is. You work for yourself.

if a person is a good sells person then your more likely to be sucessful. they are very pushy about recruiting its like sales aren't that big of a job its all about recruiting.

Direct Sales that you work at your own pace and only as much as you want to. You are your own boss and determine how much you do or don't do. You schedule skin care parties and teach women about the benifits of using good skin care.

This was a very rewarding job for me I have always wanted to be of service to others, and was able to do so in this position. Helping others with the quality of their skin and their self esteem.

I love this COmpany and its values. We place God 1st, family 2nd, and career 3rd. Its an outstanding business working with different women everyday. Building their confidence. Mary Kay is a great self employed business. I get to manage my business on my own and it is a fun working experience. Being a Beauty Consultant gives me the benefit of meeting new people and help my business become successful.

Basically if you're not a self starter, or a person that goes out and get it; it's easy to not be a great salesperson with Mary kay.

Required hosting presentations for customers and prospective customers. Sales are more prominent than recruiting. Follow-up with existing customers. Processing customer orders in an immediate and timely fashion.

The company is great. They assist with makeup and creating a perfect look for everyone. Even if you don't love makeup you can find something with Mary Kay. This company creates a family of men and women working as a team to build relationships with the community and encourage beauty in everyone.

My decision to become an Independent Beauty Consutant with Mary Kay, Inc.was two fold.
