Marymount Hospital, a full-service, 312-bed, acute-care community hospital, was founded in 1949 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, TOSF, and serves southern and southeastern Cuyahoga County and neighboring communities. The campus also houses Marymount Place, a 104-unit community for independent seniors, operated by Marymount Health Care Systems.
Offsite facilities and services include Marymount South in Broadview Heights, PromptCare in Bainbridge, and the Health Resource Center in Garfield Heights, which offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy services, sports medicine and injury rehabilitation, and occupational medicine.
Marymount serves as the base Hospital for the Paramedic programs of seven local communities. The Hospital's Medical Staff includes a comprehensive array of medical specialties and subspecialties supported by contemporary diagnostic and treatment equipment, programs, and services.
Newly premiered programs and services include the Minimally Invasive Surgical Program of Excellence; a Family Practice Residency Program; a Regional Radiology Center operated and equipped in conjunction with The Cleveland Clinic; and the development of the Human Motion Institute.
