Mascon has significantly enhanced its ability to develop and implement custom features for its AIMS¨ business information systems, with the acquisition of SynergySoft, Inc., Naperville, IL. The $3 million contract programming company, which employed 30 people, was merged into Mascon, effective April 1, 1999.

SynergySoft customers will benefit from Mascon software development facilities in several cities in India. "It is very difficult for a contract programming and consulting firm to be successful today without an off-shore development center," Mr. Thondavadi explains, "With a satellite link between the U.S. and India, Mascon provides opportunities for "real-time" software development anytime, anywhere in the world."
AIMS¨ from Mascon is Windows-based integrated business management software for plastics processors. The system links production, sales, material, quality control and financial operations in a company-wide, real-time information network.
