World renowned delivery of clinical care. The employees are truly committed to serving their patient public as well as each other.
Program Coordinator, Administartive Internships (Current Employee), Boston, MANovember 12, 2014
Pros: numerous employee appreciation events are scheduled each year, excellent health plan, competative retirement contribution, extremey well maintained facility
Cons: organization appreciates employees of only the highest degree of intellect first, other dedicated but perhaps non-harvard, non-ivy league trained professionals are considered for advancement secondarily, at most every level of job classification
So few days are'typical' or 'mainstream' in their nature. hour to hour the needs of our patients,, cliebnts, and co-workers change, in order to keep pace with cutting edge health care that MGH is famous for. This is a great aspect. Most difficult element of the role is understanding the ever changing paradigms of Senior Leadership. All Leaders are now – more... products of Ivy-League institutions, have a singular approach to managing staffs, which in most cases does not contribute to the employees career growth. One must poossess a minimum of a Master Degree to be entertained for even the fiirst line level of office corrdination or Supervision. What has happened to an Undergrad Degree coupled with years of vast experience? Very limiting in it's approach to growing a staff memeber. Much work is needed in the understanding of basic organizational behaviors and management of TEAMS. – less

Poor management. Poor facility.
PET Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Chemist (Current Employee), Boston, MAOctober 4, 2014
Employees are overworked and under-compensated for the conditions they are required to perform under. There is a huge disconnect between management and the day-to-day activities of the facility. Co-workers were great - we helped each other deal the unnecessary, overwhelming pressure caused by poor management and poor equipment.
